Testing Well

Sure, maybe your guy isn't the sharpest pencil in the pack. Still, acing your test is a good way to raise love across the board.
But what good's a test without some math? The score for each subject is determined by the following equation:

Score = (N - B) / (A - B) * 100

A and B are fixed values for each test.

N is the basic score calculated from your current parameters.

Note

If N is larger than A, you'll score 100 points on the test.

So why should you suffer to do well on your tests? Because it raises your Tokimeki with your harem, of course!

The values in parentheses ( ) add Friend for Himuro-sensei.

Note

Even if you score 475, Hazuki-kun may still beat you, so aim for 100%!

So let's say Study, Art, and Body are 100, while Sense, Fashion, and Charm are 75 for the first test of your second year. Your test score will be:

Tokimeki!

Parameters can help you succeed on tasks, ace your tests, and eventually get a good ending with the guy of your dreams, but more importantly, the parameters help decide the bonus Tokimeki points that are assigned to every guy at the end of each month.

The three tables below show the necessary information. The last table shows the standard values for each month and the possible bonus points. The first table shows the goal for each guy every month, while the second table shows the amount of bonus points that you get depending on how far you meet the guy's goal.

In other words, at the beginning of year 2, your goal parameters for Morimura would be Study=125(100% of 125) and Art=86(75% of 114). If you're Friendly and achieved these goals, you'd get an extra 7 tokimeki points just for that month. But if you got less than 59% for either one of the parameters, then you'd actually LOSE 4 tokimeki points for that month.

Note

If the guy already hates you, scoring low doesn't matter much. But at higher levels, low scores will reduce your precious Tokimeki every single month!
The percentage of completion used for calculating the bonus is based on the LOWEST value, not the average. So if you're Friendly with Hazuki and most of your parameters are through the roof but you only have 2 Charm points, you'll still lose 4 Tokimeki that month!

Plans for the Future

At the beginning of your third year, Himuro-sensei will ask you what you want to do with your life. Depending on your stats, you can either pass an exam and enter university or a career, or you can fail the exam and do something else with your life. If you become a club master or a master at your job, you get another option to continue your job or pursue a career related to your club. Although not hugely important in most cases, the right choice is required for the Tendo or Goro endings.

Note

A ronin refers to a high school student who failed the college exam, so they're taking a year off to study for next year's exam.
A freeter is someone who works many part-time jobs but doesn't have a single career.
