A Letter From Sakamoto-kun To Coming Century
From Nihon TV's "Oshare Kankei" (June 27, 1999)
(This is a translation of a letter Sakamoto-kun wrote to Coming Century on the show "Oshare Kankei". The letter was taken from a Japanese fan page, NATURAL.)

To Coming Century,

It's been 4 years since V6 debuted.
Many things have happened since then.
The first time I met KamiSen, my impression was
"These guys, they're teeny."
At that time, you never said "Hello" or "Goodbye", you were late in the mornings,
and you didn't memorize your drama lines.
Those times, I'd always call the three of you and talk to you.
You three probably thought to yourselves,
"He sure is annoying."
But one day, Okada and Ken called me with a problem,
and I was so incredibly happy.
Even though I'm such an unreliable leader, they looked up to me.
But I still didn't communicate with Go,
and about a year and a half after we debuted, we didn't really talk.
But then something happened, and I yelled at Go.
At that time, tears filled Go's eyes and he really glared at me.
But, I was glad that, for the first time, Go was being serious with me.
Since then, Inohara and Nagano have been good mediators,
and I think that we've been able to have a really warm group as V6.
From here on is our beginning.
We'll become bigger as V6, as KamiSen, and as individuals.
From here on, good luck with your drama "Shin Ore-tachi no Tabi." (1)
V6's rule is "Let's Have Fun."
Please don't forget that, and good luck.

Sakamoto Masayuki
