Inocchi, as he is called by, well, everyone, joined Johnny's very early on, towards the end of elementary school. This says two things: A) Inocchi is extremely talented and well-trained in music, dance, acrobatics, and just about everything else you can think of, and B) Johnny's Entertainment is completely shameless. ;^_^ He quit high school half way through to continue his work, but jokingly promised his dad that he'd finish before he was 30. In 2004, Inocchi actually pulled himself together and returned to high school. Work Inocchi has a very strong solo voice that's used in many V6 solos. He plays the guitar and has written a few songs for V6. He's also a great dancer and acrobat; I've never seen anyone pull off such an easy and gorgeous looking back handspring from a completely relaxed, standing position. Inocchi's energy and ability lends perfectly to entertaining. It always seems like just when one's over, I'm hearing about Inocchi in yet another musical/stage production. He also loves kids, which comes out in his weekly kiddie show Ponkickies 21. Despite all of that, Inocchi is also the one known as "the one who doesn't look like a Johnny's, at all." I'm still not quite sure if that's supposed to be a compliment or an insult or what, though... Personality I'm half convinced that Inocchi is manic-depressive. The only problem is, I've never seen him even remotely depressive. He's just plain manic. Even most normal "outgoing" people would probably tell him to calm down. He's an extremely talkative and personable "life-of-the-party" type, always making people laugh and energizing them. He's by far the most likely V6 member to start whacking someone hard, while jumping around and making monkey noises. (No seriously, he does it a lot.) Inocchi loves doing impressions and performing as a character. He's always hysterical and stays in character to the very end, even if he doesn't always make sense. Inocchi is deathly scared of heights and hates mornings. He also makes a rather incoherent and grouchy drunk. At the same time, he's probably the V6 member with the biggest male following, with a personality that just seems to make him the ultimate drinking buddy. Despite his wild energy, he claims to be a true type A personality: he hates messes and disorganization, and little things like bad Japanese bothers him. Probably because he's so energetic, he does tend to get rather grumpy when tired and overworked. Fun Anecdotes & Misc.
When other members of V6 (especially KamiSen) hang out with Inocchi, it tends to get dangerous. Inocchi seems to leak energy, so KamiSen tends to bounce off the walls when hanging with him. Once with Inocchi, I witnessed Ken simply bounce for an entire variety show segment, seemingly without tiring. And Go always seems to get more violent with Inocchi around to goad him.In one of my favorite Viva Viva V6 segments, Inocchi and Nagano got shipped off to Korea together. At 2 a.m., Nagano was still completely awake with all of the lights on. Inocchi, in groggy bitterness, finally had enough and chucked a pillow at Nagano's head. Inocchi sleepily apologized, but it was still pretty darned funny. In another great segment for Gakkou e Ikou, Inocchi and Okada-kun apparently ended up in Mexico while playing a round of the "Doko ni Iku n desu ka?" Game in America. But not to fear: the two stayed up the whole night drinking and singing with the locals in a little bar. Because they're insane. |
