Monster

Version 1.00
Note: I adore Cascade, I really do. This song may not be a usual crack trip, but it's certainly just as drugged out. It reminds me of the South Park episode when the kids get hooked on Ritalin. "You've got to try this, you guys. It makes you feel gooooood. Real gooooood." It's just so mellow and sooooooo strange... Man I love Cascade. ;^_^ The one thing of note is that "dandan" actually does make sense in Japanese, it means gradually. The constant repetition of this word really emphasizes the hazy, drugged atmosphere of the song. Remember kids, just say no.

(1) I love the way this word is used here. Tokeatte would usually mean "to understand one another", but it also means "to fade into one another" (like colors or something similar). Considering what a crack trip this song is, I think the imagery of this phrase works out perfectly.
Lyrics belong to Tama, Yaso8, and Victor Entertainment, Inc., taken from the Butterfly Limited Express album, VPCH-1068 (track 9). Not like the words make any sense if you haven't heard the song, anyway. Romanized and translated into English very badly by Mina-P, with desperately needed help, as always, by Mako-chan.
