freesia ~op. 2~
Poem, Written, Performed by: Gackt Camui
Translated by: Mina-P (Email: Minako@senshigakuen.com)
Version 2.00
Note: The seventh song from Gackt's amazing Mars album. It's a little similar to Ares, in that Freesia ~Op. 2~ is an instrumental and therefore has no lyrics. But Gackt wrote a lovely poem for us instead, so please enjoy~! I've attempted to keep a similar format for the poem as printed in the lyrics booklet, so excuse me if things look really weird...
subete wa kioku no naka e
tada wasurete wa
ikenai mono ga aru
me no mae ni
katachi o nashite wa inakute mo
soko ni wa iki ga ari
kotou ga ari
yawaraka na kyokusen egaku hikari ga aru
me o tojite
sono ude o nobashite
yubisaki ni fureru koto ga aru no nara
itsuka kitto mata
deaeru kara
itsuka kitto...
Everything inside of memory,
Is simply forgotten
There are things I must not do
In front of my eyes
Forms are never even made
In there, there is breath
And there is throbbing
And there are softly curved painted lights
I close my eyes
I stretch out these arms
If I feel something with my fingertips
Surely someday again
I'll meet you
Surely someday...
Lyrics belong to Gackt Camui and Nippon Crown, taken from the Mars album, CRCP-20239 (track 7). Not like the words make any sense if you haven't heard the song, anyway. Romanized and translated into English very badly by Mina-P, with desperately needed help, as always, by Mako-chan. Any comments or corrections can be mailed to Mina-P at Minako@senshigakuen.com.
