Barentain ni Kuro Bara o
On Valentine's with a Black Rose
Sung by: Shimazu Saeko (Kunoh Kodachi)
Translated by: Mina-P (Email: Minako@senshigakuen.com)
Version 2.00
Note: Gee, nothing says “Happy Valentine's Day” like Ranma ½ and Kunoh Kodachi. If you've been living under a rock somewhere and therefore haven't heard of Ranma, suffice to say that Kodachi, alias the Black Rose, is one of Ranma's more, er, vocal suitors. This is one of her many... charming odes to her beloved Ranma-sama. And so for Valentines Day, Ranma dearest... run. Like the wind.

Lyrics belong to Yamaguchi Akie, the Ranma Opera Troupe Literature Division (seriously), and Pony Canyon, taken from the Ranma ½ Song Calendar II album, PCCG-00195 (track 2). Not like the words make any sense if you haven't heard the song, anyway. Romanized and translated into English very badly by Mina-P, with desperately needed help, as always, by Mako-chan. Any comments or corrections can be mailed to Mina-P at Minako@senshigakuen.com.
