Taiyou mo Hitoribocchi
The Sun is Also Lonely
Sung by: The Hearts

Version 2.00
Note: Yet another wonderful song from The Hearts of the anime series Chouja Reideen (the newer version). The "Hearts are the "bad” group lead by amazing seiyuu Takagi Wataru. This is one of my favorite songs from The Hearts (they have a whole 6), where Takagi-san's vocals absolutely sail. It's somewhat depressing, but overall it's really uplifting. Makes for a perfect song in my book!
daremo inai umi no teibou ni koshikake
haruka kureteiku oozora o
mou dore kurai miteiru darou
Sitting down at the edge of an empty sea,
How much longer are you going to
Watch the far off, darkening heavens
chippoke ni omoeru kizutsuita koto sae
sotto uchiyoseru namitachi ni arawareteku
Even the things that hurt if you think about them a little bit
Are uncovered by the softly breaking waves
kanashimi ni makenai yo
demo hitori de nakitai hi mo aru sa
Ah kagayaki o wasurenai
taiyou mo hitoribocchi
ano sora de...
Don't give in to sadness
But there are also days when you want to cry alone
Ah, don't forget the radiance
The sun is also lonely
In that sky...
kimi o omoidasu to mune ga itaku naru yo
doshite taisetsu na mono bakari kowasu no darou
When I remember you, my chest begins to hurt
Why do I destroy everything important to me?
nanimokamo nakushita to
omou toki wa mata yume o sagasou
Ah kaze no hi mo ame no hi mo
taiyou wa mata noboru yo
atarashiku...
If you've lost everything
When you think about it, search out another dream
Ah, on windy days and rainy days
The sun rises again
Anew...
kanashimi ni makenai yo
demo hitori de nakitai hi mo aru sa
Ah kagayaki o wasurenai
taiyou mo hitoribocchi
ano sora de...
Don't give in to sadness
But there are also days when you want to cry alone
Ah, don't forget the radiance
The sun is also lonely
In that sky...
Lyrics belong to Takubo Mami, taken from the The Hearts album, AYCM-591 (track 4). Not like the words make any sense if you haven't heard the song, anyway. Romanized and translated into English very badly by Mina-P, with desperately needed help, as always, by Mako-chan. Any comments or corrections can be mailed to Mina-P at Minako@senshigakuen.com.
