Note: This is, hands down, one of the sexiest songs I've ever heard. Sadomasochism has never BEEN so fun~! Too bad you won't be able to tell that from my translation... ;^_^ But even beyond the incredible vocals of ToniSen and the super-cute rap of Ken-Ken, the lyrics on this song are so amazingly clever. My own translation doesn't pull it off well, but the lyricist threw in some amazing internal rhyme, alliteration, and other great literary techniques not seen outside of B'z. (1) I know this doesn't make a lot of sense in English, but it does rhyme in Japanese... Kurakushon is the Japanese way of pronouncing "Klaxon"... in other words, a car horn. I've seen it in several Japanese songs, actually, and it always amuses me that they use such a complex word that most English speakers don't know. ^_^
(2) That's honestly what the lines says, translated into English. Obviously, this is some sort of Japanese saying, but I'm not quite sure what it could mean. The best Mako-chan and I could come up with was either something along the lines of "not riding on other people's coattails" or "don't let people walk all over you." Does anyone actually KNOW what this phrase means? Please do tell!
